Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Tracky (“Tracky,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the Tracky mobile application for iOS. We built Tracky to keep your information private by default — your habits, focus sessions, and progress live on your device, and we never sell your data.
1.Information We Collect
Tracky is designed to collect as little personal information as possible. The information involved falls into the following categories:
- Profile information. A display name and optional preferences you enter to personalize the app. This is stored on your device.
- Activity data. The promises, journeys, goals, focus sessions, reflections, and progress you create while using Tracky. This data is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device data framework.
- Health & fitness data (optional). If you choose to connect Apple Health, Tracky may read data such as steps, workouts, active energy, exercise minutes, and body measurements. This access is granted only with your explicit permission and can be revoked at any time in the iOS Settings or Health app. Tracky does not write to your Health data without your action.
- Subscription status. If you purchase Tracky Pro, your subscription and entitlement status are managed by Apple through StoreKit. We receive confirmation of an active entitlement but do not receive your payment card details.
- Diagnostic information. Apple may provide aggregated, anonymized crash and performance data through App Store Connect if you have enabled sharing in your device settings. This data is not tied to your identity.
2.How We Use Information
We use the information described above only to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Tracky app and its features.
- Calculate your momentum, identity, growth stages, and Future You projections from the commitments you keep.
- Surface optional Apple Health insights when you have connected Health.
- Process and restore subscriptions through Apple.
- Respond to your support requests and improve the app.
We do not use your activity or health data for advertising, and we never sell it.
3.Where Your Data Is Stored
Your Tracky activity data is stored locally on your device. If you have enabled iCloud device backup, your data may be included in your encrypted Apple backup, which is governed by Apple's privacy practices. Because your data lives on your device, deleting the app removes that data from your iPhone.
4.Third-Party Services
Tracky relies on services provided by Apple as part of operating an iOS application:
- App Store & StoreKit — for app distribution and subscription management.
- Apple Health (HealthKit) — only if you choose to connect it.
- iCloud — only if you use device backup.
Your use of these services is also governed by Apple's privacy policy. Tracky does not integrate third-party advertising or analytics SDKs that track you across apps.
5.Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may disclose information only if required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Tracky, our users, or others. Any sharing required to operate the app (such as Apple processing your subscription) is limited to what is necessary for that purpose.
6.Your Rights & Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under privacy laws such as the GDPR (European Union/EEA/UK) or the CCPA (California), including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your information, and to object to certain processing.
Because most Tracky data is stored on your device, you can exercise many of these rights directly:
- Access & edit your data within the app at any time.
- Revoke Apple Health access in the iOS Settings or Health app.
- Delete your data by deleting the app from your device.
For any request or question about your rights, email us at trackysupport@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
7.Children's Privacy
Tracky is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
8.Data Retention
Your activity data is retained on your device for as long as you keep the app installed. Subscription records are retained by Apple according to their policies. When you delete the app, the associated on-device data is removed from your iPhone.
9.Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including relying on Apple's on-device storage and platform security. However, no method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10.Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes may also be communicated within the app. Your continued use of Tracky after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
11.Contact Us
If you have any questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy or your data, please contact us at trackysupport@gmail.com.
